A beautiful place known for its serene beauty and inspiration, is Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland.
They say this place could have influenced Tolkien’s vision of Rivendell. Lauterbrunnen is a picturesque village in the Swiss Alps where a lot of nature lovers and artists come.
The name ‘Lauterbrunnen’ translatede, means: ‘many fountains’, maybe because the area has about 72 waterfalls.
Our appartement was across one of those waterfalls and that gave a relaxing sound from all the water and a special kind of mists which create that serene and mystical atmosphere.
For artists that triggers the imagination and I also experienced Lauterbrunnen as a creative oase.
