“Colored pencils’ is the first magazine in print in the world dedicated to color pencil drawings. Drawings with colored pencil, is a very difficult medium and is very little used by the artists. Rajacenna one of the few artists who powers this discipline.

It’s one of the best licencing agencies in the world. (Commission licencing and merchandise like calendars, puzzles, tshirts, figurines, agenda’s etc..) 

It’s also the agency of Victoria Francés and Anne Stokes, who I admire very much. I know Victoria Francés artwork
for a long time now. In almost every town in the world there’s something to buy of Victoria Francés, whether it’s a calendar, a coffee mug or something else with her drawings on it.

I’m still young so I felt really honored that they wanted to sign me while I’m still growing and developing. Art Ask Agency is an international licensing agency with over 20 years experience in the licensing industry worldwide. They are specialized in fantasy, concepts, fashion, lifestyle and design led brands. With many languages and contacts, art ask agency has coherent and comprehensive merchandising programmes, across Europe and the world.

I have now 3 representing companies for 3 different disciplines. Artbox in Amsterdam who asked me a long time ago, (after I appeared in a Dutch tv show in 2010).  An agency for commissions, original designs and illustration. I have an agent for exhibitions of my original artwork. Kudos Fine Arts, Birmingham, England.  And now an agent for commissions licensing and commercial reproduction. Art Ask Agency, Barcelona, Spain.

Everything takes time but I’m really grateful for all the posibilities! :D

It’s gonna be something different than my other drawings. It’s a fairy in the night sitting on a stone wall with a door. The door is half open and you can see a little of a magic kingdom, the home of the fairy. She also has a key in her hand so she can open and close the door. Around her are a few flowers, I had a little diffeculty with them because I added some white pastell in the beginning of the drawing. Normally I do that on the end but this time I was a little impatient. Once you’ve added white pastell you can’t go over it with colour pencils so I had a problem. I tried to remove the white pastell and fixed my mistake so hopefully no one notices it :) .

Im glad it’s finished, while I was drawing I was already busy in kmy head with my next drawing so I can’t wait to start my new one.
I always find it hard to decide when my drawing is finished because I wanna keep adding more and more details. You have to stop on the right moment because otherwise the drawing will look worse. So I have to tell myself that it’s good for now and the next time I will do it better. I learn from every drawing that I make, each one is a step closer to what I really want. What I want is to make drawings that are completely me. I still have to find myself in my drawings and create my own style. I already can see small bits in my drawings but it’s not what I want yet. It takes time and I know I will get there some day. (and hopefully soon!:)

Im really greatful that so many people already like my art. Its really nice to read those comments and that I even inspire people to draw too! I wish I could answer them all but I’m so busy and if I answer everyone back I wouldn’t have any time for drawing! I do read the comments and when I have some spare time I aswer some back but for the people who I didn’t anwser yet: thanks for all those nice words and compliments! It means a lot to me! <3

Also on exhibition were the world’s most expensive shoes. An all gold shoe, fully encrusted in diamonds. ‘Together with a fully diamond encrusted matching handbag, by designer, Christopher Shellis.

My work was nicely framed and on exhibiton were four of my ‘tear’-drawings from my TearCollection and ‘Sparkling  Beauty” and one of my latest “Dreaming in the Clouds’.

They also asked me to jury for a drawing contest. They could win a hardcopy of one of my drawings and I would pick the winner. A lot of people participated in the contest and it was really nice to see all the growing talent. I could really see that they had fun while making the drawing! It was hard to pick just one winner so I had to think hard who I should choose. After a few days of deep thinking (lol) I decided to pick two winners. The winners will be revealed soon!

Meeting
Enthusiastically Justin received the pencil drawing which gave Rajacenna (18) worldwide fame one year ago. “Did you drew that?” He asked in astonishment, “that’s amazing!” Said Justin very impressed. “How long did it take you to draw it?” He asked interested. Rajacenna replied that it took her about four or five hours to draw it. Justin felt very honored that he was drawn on paper in such a realistic way and loved to take the drawing home.

Record company Justin Bieber
The record company of Justin Bieber, Universal Music, contacted the young artist last year for the first time. They saw Rajacenna in a television show with the youtube video of the realisation of the drawing of Justin Bieber. They asked her permission for a hard copy of the portrait of Justin Bieber to put on their office wall between the portraits of many contracted artists. The young drawing talent could hand over the portrait to the wildly popular Canadian singer in person.
